Glass Fibre is often used as an alternative to asbestos for Insulation purposes. With a higher temperature resistance as opposed to Asbestos, Glass Fibre offers better protection than the predecessor. Also, as the material is non-fibrous and of a higher density, Glass Fibre packings offer better insulation. |
